Korean is also known as Hangul (한국말) is the official language for both North and South Korea. The Hangul dialect is spoken in South Korea. Korean, is also known as a language itself as Kugo, is the language of the Korean Peninsula in northeast Asia. In the Democratic People Republic of Korea (DPRK, or North Korea) there are more than 30 million speakers and in the Republic of Korea (ROK, or South Korea) there are more than 45 million speakers. Korean is also spoken by the almost 3 million people in China, mainly in sticks bordering North Korea. There are roughly half a million speakers in Japan and Rus Dialects in South Korea

Korean helps in many dialects are spoken in South Korea:


  • The Seoul dialect (서울말), or Gyeonggi is spoken in Gyeonggi, Incheon, Seoul (South Korea), and Kaesŏng (North Korea). The Seoul Dialect is the basis of the standard language.

  • The Yeongseo dialects (영서 방언) are spoken in the Yonge region of Gangwon Region in South Korea.

  • The Chungcheong dialects (충청 방언) are the dialects of the Chungcheong (Hoseo) region of South Korea which includes the city of Daejeon.

  • The Gyeongsang dialects (경상 방언), are also known Southeastern dialects are typical for the Gyeongsang (Yeongnam) region of South Korea, including the cities of Busan, Daegu, Ulsan. They are easily different from the Seoul dialect, because of their more varied pitch.

The 24 letters of the Hangul alphabet are usually organized in the blocks for each syllable, which seems to resemble Chinese characters. In the reality, Korean Language Classes in Noida syllables contain individual phonetically prominent letters in a way similar to the Latin alphabet.
